I love Tucker's! They have amazing drink deals evening night of the week and have amazing song flavors such as bourbon glaze! They have tons of red and are a great family oriented restaurant that I love to go to with friends and family! If your going to Tucker's with the family of friends just be willing to spend a little bit of money. For example I paid $19 for my food last night and I didn't even have a drink from the bar. I split 2 apps with my friend and pressed my husband a meal to take home. I thought this was a tad steep for the amount of food we got! But I'm used to always having a great deal on food too lol. I think this place is definitely worth trying and even going back to in my opinion.

I love steak. I ordered one at Tuckers, the New York Strip. It was the priciest on the menu, and I thought that it would probably be the best. Not even close. The steak was awful. When I said something to the server, her response was "oh, sorry". There was no offer to remake the steak or even an attempt at making me happy. The salad was awful too. It looked like it was literally dumped out of a bag and put on my plate. The servers seemed nice, though the girl waiting on me took her sweet time with refills. The majority of the time the servers stood at the host area gossiping amongst themselves and it was almost impossible to get someones attention when needed. Other than for meetings, I'll not return. I really wish they would fix their salads though. It's a shame.

If a sports bar and a restaurant where to make a baby then comedian Tracy Morgan would call it Tuckers. For me this is a local eatery and when I order a meal for pickup I'm not disappointed. I've enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich & fries. To be honest the portions for this meal are large and most people would use the second chicken for another meal. Also, I love the pickle that they add and the red onion is an incredible taste for this sandwich. The turkey reuben is nice. I can no longer eat red meat... its a long story due to a tick bite, but once upon a time I was in the mood for and had the brickyard meatloaf. It was good and was the last time that I was able to have meatloaf. Sometimes I miss that. The long and short is that its not my favorite place but it comes in handy and we all need restaurants like that.

Place says they close at 11 on the door but go in and they say they are closed and kitchen is closed and then the manger wanted to get a attitude with me when I said ur door says 11.

Both times that I have been there it was good food, but I probably wouldn't go back unless I had some kind of Groupon because it seemed to be pricey for a family of four. The atmosphere was okay, but not as warm as I had hoped.

We come here often since it's close to the house. Tonight we had Michael as a server who not only was a tentative but was entertaining. We ordered wings some boneless and traditional, both were delicious. I recommend asking for Michael.

I recommend visiting Tuckers if you need a place to watch a local game. We visited on a Saturday night, during a U of L game, and the game was being shown on three huge theater style screens with surround sound on. An additional eight large screens throughout the sports bar were showing a variety of games and other programs. The restaurant is designed with arena seating so that every table faces the television screens and has a good view. Even with a full house for the game, the service was prompt and friendly. The food is mostly bar food with a few other classic American dishes thrown into the mix. It isn't really exciting food, but it holds up as sports bar fare. I tried the chicken and dumplings and it was a satisfying meal for a cold night. My boyfriend had a burger and had no complaints. We both loved the cinnamon butter that was served with the bread before the meal. We both agreed that we would come back if we wanted to watch a game or grab a burger.

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I got a bowl of the potato soup and a salad for dinner. The soup tasted canned- not rich and creamy as you would expect. Even worse was the soup was served cold. The cheese on top wouldn't come close to melting. I asked if it could be microwaved and our waitress was very nice and attentive to the request. My friend got the regular roast beef dinner. She said the gravy was so salty she could barely eat it. Great concept, but Tucker's will need to up their quality for me to go back.

If you put Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings and a movie theater in a blender, you would end up with Tucker's. The decor projects a sports bar; lots of jersies, lots of TV's and even the paper in the baskets alerts you to how their food dominates "hunger pains" on the field (100-0, if I recall correctly). Interestingly, the tables and booths are arranged in a stadium seating style so that eveyone (unless your back is to them, I suppose) can see the big screens at the front of the joint. I'm sure that it is a great place to watch a game. I didn't think it was a great place to eat dinner though. Here comes the Applebee's reference. The menu has a wide array of items; typical American fare like sandwiches, ribs, steaks, salads and such. They don't specialize in anything, so everything is "fine." Don't get me wrong, I didn't get sick, but it was a forgettable meal. The service matched the food; fine, but nothing to be impressed by. I guess that is the bottom line here. Tucker's is fine, but unimpressive in nearly every way.

Food was okay, but service was atrocious. We came here and were placed on a waiting list though there were many empty tables. Fine. They said twenty minutes waiting. Okay. Then it got awful. Servers and the hostess were hanging out going slow at the front counter gossiping about their high school drama instead of clearing empty tables or addressing the long wait and I never saw the manager. By the time we got seated (well over an hour), they didn't even bring the usual bread nor silverware to the table. Waitress was okay but nothing special and unapologetic despite knowing how frustrated we were. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I'd been here before and it was better service but food was still just okay. Also the projectors are nice. Definitely better options in the area, though.

"They have some TV's with sports on" The TVs cover all of the wall space!! We stopped in here for a late dinner and it was the only restaurant open. The bison burger with fries was decent, and D said the spinach salad with chicken was serviceable. Service was friendly and efficient. The Indiana/Ohio basketball was on, so that was cool.

This place when i came here was just alright, i went here with friends to watch the Super Bowl Louisville vs Florida not a place to make a reservations just your average neighborhood restaurant & bar also they were not event packed to see their home team play. However the service was not bad always came to get our drinks and make sure we were taking good care. I had a steak and it was nothing special not like their was anything wrong with it i just found it to a steak that i can get at any other restaurant and the beer cheese was OK. They had some big screen tvs not like some other sports bars you go to but it's okay. It's just your mama and papas place where you just go every now and than not for your birthday or special event.

Tucker's is your typical family restaurant with a separate bar. They have some TV's with sports on and the service is usually good. Nice eclectic menu with something for everybody. Parking sucks because there are a lot of businesses crammed into a strip mall style building, but it is close to the highway and the bottom of the Knobs. They also have a private room for parties. We used this recently and they provided food and all of the service with 2 waitresses for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them.

We live in New Albany and typically avoid Tuckers because it's food has generally been "ok" and the tv's are up so loud that it's atmosphere leaves something to be desired. When we do eat at Tuckers we did today, I always get something different mostly because I'm still looking for something good. Today we started with their cheese fries,. They were very good. The fries were freshly fried and there was plenty of cheese and bacon. Unfortunately, that was the best part of our meal. I ordered their Shrimp Dinner with coleslaw and a baked sweet potato. The slaw was definitely not fresh and I believe they tried to cover up that fact with an overabundance of mayonnaise. As soon as the waitress delivered my shrimp dinner I could smell that the shrimp were too old. that horrible stench of iodine arose from the plate. I was a good sport and I smelled and or tasted 4 of the shrimp and all I can say is that some of the shrimp weren't quite as far gone as others. They did manage to bring me a good baked sweet potato. My companion had the steak burger and onion straws. They reported they their burger was "ok" and the onion straws were good. We both ordered soft drinks when we sat down, but once we looked at the menu we asked if we could change to one of their specialty lemonade. We were told that of course we could and the waitress brought us our new drinks. They were delicious, however we were charged for all four drinks. That was more than eleven dollars by itself. I expected to be changed for the special drinks, but not both. At the very least the waitress should have told us. I also had to pay for my bad shrimp, even though I told the waitress they weren't good. In the end we paid over $51 including a tip, and it was so NOT worth it. My recommendation is ... eat at your own risk, expect neither great service or great food.

Great variety on the menu. Reasonable prices. Great for viewing local games on big screens.
